while working on another issue for a customer he asked me to take look at his Outlook 2016.
He said he made a change and now when ever he sends an email his is automatically receives a copy on all his devices. He does not know what he changed.
He is using outlook in exchange mode on his desktop where he said he went in and mad said change.
I have been unable to find
where this is.
There aren't any rules setup either.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

The only thing I can think of is a rule, home tab, move section, rules, manage rules and alerts. If you configure a rule to do something, that rule is processed by the Exchange server, and will fire on all main regardless of how it's sent. OWA wouldn't make a difference, which is why it's a good test.

Does not happen using OWA. User does not have that access. I tested and it does not.
I am waiting to get to his computer again to do some further checking. He explicitly told me he created on the situation in outlook 2016 connected to exchange server. As I said earlier he does not have direct access to OWA or his O365 account to make changes there and no exchange rules on this customer yet.

I'd blow away his Outlook profile and create a new fresh one from scratch. Since it's O365 (Exchange)...nothing to lose....nothing to have to back up. Just..blow it away, create a fresh virgin default profile..and see what happens.

These things where the end user says they "did something..but they forget what"...or even when they deny they did something...you know they did....you can spend hours...days...weeks..chasing rabbits down various holes.

...or just blow the Outlook profile away and create an all new one under a different name...and see what happens. This part takes what..2 maybe 3 minutes? Not even 2 minutes really..not even a full minute.
