I went to a lan party years ago. I had been having a bad day all around. When I got to the party, I started having issues with my gaming rig. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I very calmly picked up my monitor, walked outside, and swung it by the vga cable as hard as I could into the side of a big oak tree. Someone said, "that is one angry geek!"

About 15 years ago when Method Man was my favourite rapper, he used to also go by the name of Methical before he blew up. I just thought it was quite a cool name, been using Methical and methodunderg (short for methodunderground) for years. Nothin' more to it than that.

I got mine about 10 years ago due to my law enforcement background and some of my advanced handgun training. I was working a dry fire drill were the opponent had the drop on me and I was forced to give up the gun, the drill involves a quick shifting of the gun from surrender to firing and a new guy there who I was showing this and some injured shooter drills said "well, you are just a real life gunslinger aren't you" So it stuck.

Mines nothing special. dh= Davie High (The high school I went to. Randy is my nickname. I've used it for years.

It would have been more interesting if I would have used my gaming name. But I just use it for gaming, which I don't do much of anymore. It's CoMpAcTKilleR. I got it because I use to have a Compaq computer and just changed the Compaq and added killer back in the day when I play Counter Strike.

Its the original japanese name of a character from the old Megaman games Protoman.

mine's just my name, heriberto torres. however, my gaming name's Pambi, or Pambita (Pambiz too), when it has to be 6+ characters (or when Pambi's taken) It's a modified version of Pambazo, which was my favorite sandwich/snack.

I don't game that much anymore, cause of exams, but even though its not a "real" game, i still play Runescape. Had to give up WoW cause my grades were slipping + lack of sleep...

LOL!!! You really have me laughing. Beau - Arrow, Walker - Runner. Great!

Mine is a throwback to previous jobs... I worked in North Hollywood at an audio post production house and TimeCode is the time shown on the screen so video and sound editors can see when a sound effect or change needs to be made. http://www.poynton.com/notes/video/Timecode/index.html And since my name is Tim, I just add the rest to it.

Years ago I was one of the first to ever liquid cool and refrigerate an entire computer by submerging it into a chemical like PrimoChill but way before PrimoChill. A few of the other tech guys called me frostbyte and it stuck. I added the 5014 to it because it used to be an old employee number I had.

I was in a gaming clan a few years back and made friends with a guy that used the name Mason, from his favorite book, Chickenhawk. After I had known him a while I finally read the book and really liked it so I took the books author & main characters Robert Mason's best friends name, Gary Resler.

Now I've stopped gaming and haven't talked to this person for a few years but I figure I might as well keep the name.


postScript: If anyone here likes reading about either the Vietnam War or combat helicopters I'd suggest you read Chickenhawk by Robert Mason.
