Hey everyone. Joined a few weeks ago, finally got my website done and I'm ready to launch.

Wisconsin Device Repair
http://www.wisconsindevicerepair.com/

Looking for critique on how well it reaches out to IT people at corporations, and to a lesser extent, consumers and computer repair techs (basically, the people on this forum). Also, if you think I need to work on SEO a bit more with keywords, please let me know.

I'm still working on a few different phone screens to change it up a bit, but otherwise I'm ready to launch.

If anyone is interested, it uses Twitter Bootstrap and a theme from Wrap Bootstrap. (https://wrapbootstrap.com/)

It looks good, I just have one question. You say that Apple can repair in warranty products for cheaper, however I was under the impression that an ipad with a broken lcd/glass (aka ipad replacement) would be around $400 from Apple if you don't have AppleCare+.

Ok, maybe $300 is what I hear before. I must have exaggerated in my head. You're still clocking in $50 to $100 cheaper, but I guess Apple does tend to replace the whole unit. And it looks more professional that you are not recommending people to void their warranty.

Thanks! Yeah, I wish their price was $400, it would make things way easier :)

Apple service can be a crapshoot. You might get lucky and find a genius on a nice day, or you might get told to pay for a brand new device. Where we really offer savings is people who break a minor thing and then get told a water damage indicator is tripped so they need to pay, you guessed it, $299 for a new device. This happens with iPhone home buttons a lot I guess.

Also, keep in mind that these are retail prices. We offer an automatic 20% discount for IT departments and people that want to use us to do white label repairs. I know I probably need to offer consumer repairs, but I'd much rather deal with businesses.

Very nice site. It is simple and to the point. I love Twitter Bootstrap, and have been implementing it in many of my new projects. It really makes a great tool to use for website development.

Thanks! I'm a big fan of Bootstrap too, especially combined with themes from WrapBootstrap. $10 and you've pretty much got a nice looking website that doesn't look too Bootstrappy.

Haha yes that is a problem with many sites that use bootstrap. Not many venture too far from the default styling. It's especially noticeable in navigation and buttons. Creating a simple class using SASS with:
Code:
.new-button {
 @extend .btn;
 your new styles: here;
}

So much easier because you can skip using the .btn class if needed for slightly cleaner markup. Or you can just simply ass another class and include the .btn class as well. So much possibilities with this thing.

Ugh, I was going for simple because except for a few big competitors, a lot of iPhone repair shops have websites like this: http://iphonerepairs.net/

(Apologies to that guy, if he is here)

I find websites like that cluttered, but maybe I'm not understanding my market properly.

I think it's too simple that it makes it seem like a scam and unprofessional. Just my opinion. I wouldn't trust a simple site like this

I think the minimalistic look suits it well for his purpose. I believe he is offering white label iphone and ipod repair. Typically those sites are used not by the front end user, but rather store owners and techs themselves. Something like this doesn't require a lot of branding and flamboyance IMHO.

I disagree 100%. I think this site looks very professional, and I would much rather call this guy versus the link that he posted of his competition.

That being said... where's the logo??? This site is seriously lacking in brand recognition. I think adding a professional logo to this site would really set it off.
