New voicemail greeting

Why would you want a voicemail? Over 80% of people immediately hang up when they hear a voicemail. That's 4 out of 5 potential customers GONE, before you even had a chance to talk to them.
I pay for an answering service, a virtual receptionist if you will, who answers the phone within two rings, 24 hours a day and I'll get an SMS alert telling me all the details.
That way, no matter if I'm asleep, on a job, in the cinema, wherever, people are still being able to speak to a real human being and be reassured that when I check my SMS I'll get back to them.
Some food for thought.

This might sound a bit bizarre, but nobody cares (and by nobody I mean your clients).

Sorry, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I changed my voice mail to a strong slow, my friends joke and say robotic, that I am with a computer client and their message is very important to me so please leave a message after the tone

This lets clients know I have other clients since people will generally only do business with successful businesses and that I will not interrupt them when I am on their time.

This increased the messages left to me via voice-mail.

Rick
