New site is up... need feedback

Update: Site is down for reconstruction.

Just put up a new site and would like feedback/critique...
It is not finished yet, but the premise it there...

while flash is "cool" and "neat", its not really viable for a business website anymore. It takes more resources, is slow to load, and is not compatible with any iphone/ipad. It also creates almost too much work for a user to navigate a website, especially if your clientèle consists of technology challenged people.

Other then that, it looks pretty good! I just do not see the use of flash for any current business site.

I'm not a fan of the look, but it is interesting. I would change the background, and give some information on your main page.

Thanks for the advice, I am a little sad that you didn't like the site, was pretty proud of it, but I understand where you are coming from. I will take it into consideration as I rebuild. Do you have any ideas for freeware that is good with templates for creating a decent site?

I closed the tab as soon as I saw 0%. Take a look at a bunch of Wordpress templates. Also, grey on white is hard to read, even if it does turn to white on blue.

Ditch the flash, unless you want a welcome page like http://www.pauersource.com/welcome but allow people to just go straight to your page.

WordPress is nice they have tons of themes.

Also look at your target audience and what sites they use & pattern the navigation based on those.

I agree with the above comments, but I have something else. Your business identity may need a rethink. I think you may have trouble explaining to people your website and such. When you give your site name, people will want to type in power instead of pauer.

Clicked link saw 0% for 2 seconds and closed the page. Ditch the welcome since most customers will not want to wait either.
