New finished website

Looks like a good start. Here are my suggestions:

  • The rotating banner on the home page is a link but it doesn't go anywhere.
  • Why not use your domain name for your email address instead of hotmail? Google Apps is free up to 10 email addresses.
  • The links on the home page to your service area don't work.
  • Make your phone number at the top bigger. The background and text colors make it easy to miss.
  • Your pricing is simple enough that I would just include it on the home page.
  • The banner on your Remote Support page has too much text and links to the Wikipedia page it came from. Write one sentence that describes remote support and make the text bigger.
  • Perhaps leave out the Testimonials page until you actually have some. Just ask customers to fill out a comment card or email you when you see them.

Nice site. I agree the phone number is too small. Also it's easy to remember if it's valid. Efficient is spelt wrong on the slider.

I like it.

A good design with nice spacing and visually appealing!

Nothing bad to say about it. Good work!

Thank you :D

Just the advice i was looking for really appreciate that! Will work on those when i get the time tonight ;)

Looks good, On the What we do page the top green banner clicks through to this page http://www.webassist.com/dreamweaver-extensions/super-suite/

Good spot, will get that changed asap thanks.

Needs a logo at the top in front of the Rapid Reponse wording.

I agree, i'll sort out a proper logo in a few days hopefully.

Clacton?!

I'm Colchester way, mate.

Site looks good!

Ah no way. I work in Colchester (assuming you mean you're in colch as cant recall any roads down here called colchester way) every fri/sat night ^^

You actively running a business?

Yeah, you were right the first time mate, Colchester town. Originally from Harwich.

I run a part time thing, similar stuff as most of you guys.

Ah right :D

im not running yet however will be my full time job. I do work in colchester on the weekends however and will continue this.

A new shop has just opened (well they are refurbing the inside, but signage is up) in clacton town center which has made me feel a bit sick, not going to let it deter me.

How's business in colchester? It's pretty fierce up there as far as competition, lots of shops & mobile techies.

I actually work at sea as my full time job, I do three weeks on, three weeks off, so I'm always going to be part time for the foreseeable future. Would love one day to do it full time, but I've got a young family to look after right now.

Regarding stores opening up, I had a similar situation today. I have been really successful with iPhone repairs recently, and it brings in a lot of hassle free cash, but a new phone shop in the middle of town has opened today, so i'm expecting that to drop off a bit. But look you said, it shouldn't deter us mate. Lots of good stuff on here to keep us ahead of those lot!:)

What do you do in Colchester then?

If I get any calls from that side of Tendering when i'm at sea, ill send them your way, bud.

Ah thats cool. Yeah the way i see it just stay ahead and offer the better customer service etc.

I work for regenecy security on fri & sat, working on the doors up there (yates, missoula) etc. Not your typical geek but hey lol, if you ever go out drinking in colchester we've probably crossed paths.

Appreciate the sending work offer. I had a phone recently come to me with a cracked screen from colchester, if i had known i could of sent it your way instead i took the hassle of the travel.

Will also let you know if i get anything come from colch.

Looking good!

A few things (some may have already been mentioned)

1. Try to get an email address with your domain name at the end. Looks more professional.

2. Make your phone number bigger

3. You would get more of a 3D effect on the banner image if you put shadows under the areas that are outside of the green background. Look at the top of the rocket on my page for a visual example.

4. When the banner image changes, it looks kind of choppy. It might just be my computer. Are the images larger and being resized by your code?

5. A lot of the links aren't working

6. For the testimonial page, consider using something like this. I just added a variation to my homepage and it looks great. It's not flash either, so it will work on iPhones!
