Need critique on website background!

you know? i got to thinking and this just has something about it that i like more than the one that i just spent a bunch of time on... oh well. anyway, thanks a ton for the input. i'm changing things around now.

glad you like it. Took about 10 seconds with Gimp. I have used the mesh background before. It's a little distracting when used for the entire page background.
