Need advice on adding a wireless store to my shop...

Long story short. I own a computer repair shop and now I have signed up to sell wireless services and accessories. The problem is that I cant figure out how to implement that service without changing my name?? I want to let people know when they drive by my shop that this is what im doing now along with computer repair... Any Suggestions would be appreciated.. Please be honest as possible

I'm going to be blunt and ask if you thought about this before you decided to sign up? Ok, now that's out of the way...who did you sign up with? What's the name of your business?

yeah i thought about it but im the type of person that doesn't really make a business plan, i have an idea and just go with it. The name of my business is computer doctors. Its going to be selling prepaid wireless services att t mobile virgin etc. Going to be selling plans, accessories , and doing re-ups on minutes for people.

Around here, that is the main part of businesses that deal with those kinds of things. They all have established a name for themselves and have some kind of presence in the malls.

One company I was with tried selling tablet (iPad) only plans through Ingram. Didn't make a single sale. We sold a lot of iPads, but people would always take it elsewhere to get a SIM and activate it.

You might have to do a lot of advertising regarding "now selling ** wireless and accessories"
Or get another name for your wireless service DBA your computer name.

I'd recommend that also.

I've done this for a few customers. For example, a vehicle body shop that started doing MOTs and servicing: They had been advertising it on their existing website in a "now also doing ... " fashion, but with moderate success.

I create a new website for them, using their location and 'MOTs' as a new T/A business name, and they had a matching sign made for the premises. After a little SEO, within a few months they were taking the top spot in Google for local searches.
