I am moving from a 320sq ft side street office to a 1800sq ft downtown location. Still have a lot to do but here is some work in progress pics,

So far I have rewired the place with a minimum of 2 gigabyte lan drops in each room, server rack, patch panel, going to have a dual wan router for failover. Going to be purchasing a pbx unit and going to use IP phones for all the offices. I ordered an 8 por kvm and will be setting up a bench in one of the offices along with an area for soldering dc jacks. I wired the office for IP cameras but have not decided which ones to go with so I am open for suggestions.

Patched the may holes and redid the half ass tape job that was done in the space. I will be replacing all of the dated carpet with the laminate flooring in the link below.

I am going to be painting all the walls but am not sure what color yet and am open for suggestions :)

When I am finished I am wanting to have a clean profesional atmosphere and want to set everything up properly now that I have a budget to play with to pull it all off.

That place looks like it has a lot of potential! What kind of business do you run, small business support or residential support or both? Does it have space for a large store front at the front of the store?

That flooring should look nice. I would go with some soft earth tones for the walls, I kind of like the green that is there now I also like a burn orange color, kind of like a sun-set. It gives a nice warm feeling while still being bright. I like colored walls a lot better than sterile/cold white.

Most of my clients are businesses as well as I do service a few schools that are on a service agreement. The only residential that I do is if when I am at a business and the owner asks me if I can fix his personal computer.

There is no store front area other than the main lobby area could become one. The way it is setup you go up a few stairs and into our space and going down a few stairs is a different business, it used to be a dental office and downstairs is government office space.

Going with those earth tone colors do you think that it would look good with an accent wall?

Nice new place!

Congratulations on the new space it looks very promising indeed. Your plan for the place sounds awesome too. Side note...is that arcade system yours or was it left there or something? If so, you definitely found a nice little gem I used to have one of those and they're great. I know that's the least of your worries but I just got excited for a quick second when I spotted it looking through your pics.

I was driving down a side street last week and there was a yard sale that I picked it up for $100. I figured that my wife would not aprove of it in the house so I brought it to the new office.

It looks nice, most certainly better than most shops I have seen. Good choice of colors BTW.
