With all the Windows 10 issues I've seen I'm beginning to detest it. My one particular client has had a number of issues with a brand new Asus gaming laptop that came with Windows 10.

  1. First every now and then the screen will flicker and I think I've narrowed it down to a driver issue as Windows 10 likes to update the drivers for you.
  2. Second one that I haven't been able to find a solution for is whenever the client right clicks on a file File Explorer closes the window. I can right click on a folder, etc and it will be fine.
  3. His wireless printer will not see his laptop on the network but will see his other Windows 7 laptops. Not a big issue as client will connect with USB to scan a document. Printing wirelessly is fine though
  4. Last but not least this same client is using Outlook 2007 and has an IMAP account setup which has a folder Sent Items and a folder Sent Messages ( not sure how that happened). When he sends an email somethings it goes to Sent Items and sometimes it goes to Sent Messages. I suggested have all sent emails going to the main account's Sent Items folder. Just not sure why it would split sent items into two different folders like that. He claims he didn't set it up that way.
In any case I was just wondering if anyone else has come across these issues before and what worked for them?

Yeah Windows 10 sadly has some core glitches. It often will try and stage updates and not tell the user, resulting in loss of system functions most likely due to a staged update. When you click restart, it says setting up windows, even though the power icon didn't mention updates (you know when you click Update & Restart).

My Windows 10 laptop stopped charging at 75% and when I restarted suddenly it was 99% and charging.

I tell all my customers if they have issues with Windows 10, restart.

I think there is a core bug in the Hybrid Power, something that wasn't present in the Windows 8.1 version. It seems to mess up quicker.

I fully agree Windows 10 does have some glitches. How about this one another client uses LanKar for his automotive business. One day they went in to work and Windows 10 had removed the program from their systems over night. Even the LanKar support hadn't heard of that one. The only system that still had the software on it was a Windows 7 system.

I find most of the issues are drivers that Microsoft push seems to blue screen most pc you have turn that stuff off just fixed one with that problem today.
