Hi,

I have a few clients who would like me to monitor the systems 24/7. For example i have a spare pc that i want to use where i can keep a screen up with software that allows me to see all computers in a list and if they have a problem or go offline they come up in red or something like this.

Does any one use or know of any kind of software out there like this. I want to monitor computers over the internet not just on my network.

Thank You

We use Pulseway (Previously known as Mobile PC Monitor) and it works great and will do what you want.
Also love the apps for the smartphones that allows you to do quite a lot on the monitored systems without having to get to a computer.
Plus you get the notifications on your smartphone as well if you want to.
It is very cheap and they have a free version that will monitor up to 5 computers so you can try it out.

Checking out the Pulseway website again, did they do away with the 5 computers for the free account? I believe I saw it last week.

I am just now getting around to setting this up for this weekend. Been crazy busy at my day job.

You may also want to check out Syspectr from O&O. Had a brief look, and it looks quite good.

I am trying this out on a business I support. They have less than 10 machines so it is free for the moment. Looks promising...only thing I do not like is that it throws an error on every PC because they don't have their "Defrag Professional" application installed...which is another addon outside the $1.50/month/PC as far as I can see.
