Microsoft uses GPL code (opensource) for an app which installs Win 7 on Netbooks!

I like seeing this! A court ruled that MS must make the source code available for this tool due to the original code being published under the GPL.

This makes me think of the movie "Revolution OS". (full length 85 min video, it is pretty good if you don't know how open source software, GNU, GPL and Linux came about).
