I just setup a new MBP and installed Offices there are a few apps I can't find that's needed can I copy the apps from the old MBP to the application folder or should I use TM is it the same thing or does it get more stuff,

just had to go to a drugstore and pay $18 for a C adapter, I think Apple included them at one time. on Temu they are $3.25 for 4

Generally speaking you can just copy the app. But that doesn't mean it'll run. That depends on macOS version of the old machine.

I guess it would not make any difference the TM route if it is an older MBP it still might not.

I know there is a dedicated Mac forum here thought I would get faster results here, next time Mac category

I wouldn't trust my clients machines with anything from TEMU.

What type, specifically?
