Loose memory

I have a ibook G4 the memory is quite loose in the slot, hardly any friction

Any way of fixing this

Possibly a non-conductive adhesive like thermal double sided tape to hold the memory onto the system board?

I'd probably press it in, place a blob of hot melt glue between the ram module and the motherboard. Hold it firmly til the glue cools.
I love hot melt glue. Easy to remove if necessary.
