I have centos os webserver running problem is i have fail2ban,wordpress-wordfence set up but looking for all in one security software to monitor the server to keep an eye on hacking attempts.
I have to check ispconfig logs, wordfence logs check my email it's a pain is there security software that can monitor all that stuff at once heard of eventlog analyzer is it any good? prefer free only tracking 1 web server.

I believe you can setup SELinux on Centos. But I have never done that with something running a website.

Nope not what i'm looking for, nagios is close not sure if there is security plugins to monitor logs from fail2ban ect. just wondering if there is something better than nagios for free.
I found a list of 50 open source server monitoring software problem is i can't find any comparisons not sure which one i should use.
Seems nagios is very popular with cacti, NCONF and Centreon,Check_MK,zabbix,Zenoss,Foglight,

OW! my head nagios is not so easy to install and configure lol im going to have to read and watch alot of videos and read some more.
Spent hours looking for comparisons only to find none but everyone seems to mention nagios.

We use ConfigServer with Centos running cPanel. It took me about 3 years to learn my way around server security but now I rarely need to do hand to hand combat with hackers. I run ConfigServer, ClamAV with ModSec and that some rather quick to ban rules. We couple that with daily backups kept for up to 14 days and knock on wood, we rarely have any issues with down times or hacks. Plenty try I grant them that.

I also use ConfigServer. I think it was $100 for them to remote in and setup their whole software suite. Took the guy an hour at max, I'm sure he does them all day long! The whole software suite is excellent. I use their MailScanner software as well.

+1 for ConfigServer Firewall (CSF for short): http://www.configserver.com/cp/csf.html
I use that on all of my linux servers. I also recently purchased their MailScanner front end for my cPanel shared hosting server. Works pretty good.

I also use Logwatch to send me e-mails daily of the various system logs from the servers.
