Our business rules:
  • We are not offering remote support at this time.
  • I work off-site during regular business hours
  • My son will be handling day-to-day operations

If there is an issue that my son cannot figure out I want to be able to remote into the computer he is working on. There could be several times during the week that I would have to remote in on different client computers that are in the shop, but not at the same time.

I would be remotting in from my laptop and could be anywhere at a number of clients.

Will ScreenConnect (single license) work in this scenario?
Any other better solutions?

It would work but, obviously, each workstation that you connect to would have to be capable of getting online. You'd just set up attended sessions for each machine (or generically) and have your son connect from his end then you'd pick which one you'd connect to from your end.

I'd still consider it remote support, you'd just be supporting your son. :)
