LibreOffice's interface gets a long overdue makeover

I always suggest LibreOffice and Thunderbird for those customers that balk at the price of MS Office for the few documents they need to handle. LibreOffice's UI was getting dated but their range of file formats makes it ideal for new installs. There's almost no document a customer will find that LibreOffice can't open.

I'm still using Open Office 4.1.2 and have had no issues with it. I use it daily as well. I also use Thunderbird, again, no issues. Well, there is one issue. They NEED to make an Android and iOS app of Thunderbird. Have no clue as to why they have not done so yet.

After years again with MS Office and Outlook I'm back to LibreOffice and Thunderbird. I find it strange I am enjoying the switch. I support more residential than than small business so I decided to use the products I install (and enjoy) on customers machines that don't want the MS $$$. (I'm practicing what I preaching....) I also run enough Linux that it's nice to have the consistency.
