I've gotten in a Lenovo twist laptop in reloaded with windows 10. Fixed some driver issues and updated BIOS. I have all the windows 10 updates and everything is working great. BUT, the touchpad will not work. (touchpad was working before reload) I have tried the synaptic driver directly from Lenovo's driver support page for this device and a generic Windows 10 driver with no success. (reloaded 2 times to make sure I didn't have a corrupted image) Shows splatted driver in device manager and will not pick up touchpad what so ever. Any ideas or suggestions?

Reloaded W10? Meaning was it a nuke and pave? Just to do a check I'd boot from a Linux distro to test. I'd venture a guess that there's one or more Lenovo utilities that you need to load. A quick look shows they have things like Lenovo Vantage and Lenovo System Interface Foundation. OEM's are forever trying to get their claws in you with proprietary stuff.

Second on booting live linux or winpe for testing.

I didn't notice you mention what is in device manager? What shows up there?
Also with the driver installed there should be a tab like this in the Mouse properties in control panel:

Did you check in the BIOS to see if it is disabled there, or via Fn button?

No, I tried Linux last night and it still does not pick up the touchpad. I also removed touchpad and tried in another similar device and it worked fine.

Did you actually witness the touchpad working at any point? You said:

That sounds like the customer brought it in already reloaded and the touchpad wasn't working?

The customer brought the device in with no keyboard or touchpad response. Ran BIOS update and both started working.

Then we wiped and put a fresh load of Windows with the 20H2 update and after that reload we can no longer get the touch pad to register.

Device manager shows the Synaptics driver in pointing devices but it is splatted and will not update driver or take a new driver.

This. Sounds like a hardware failure to me.

With Linux not working that certainly doesn't sound good. Have you cracked the case to see if there's any evidence of spillage? Did you see the version of W10 before you nuked it? For grins I'd try a an earlier version of W10. Like way back to 1903.
