Know a good web based bookmark program?

I'm finding myself that storing and going over my web bookmarks are getting harder to manage and it's just a big mess now.

I have shortcuts on my USB in a folder in different categories for tech stuff, personal ones on google bookmarks, work ones in the firefox browser, certain IE only sites in the IE browser etc.

It's gotten to the stage where I want to start over with one clean system that I can access from any computer.

It can be an online service or even a script you can host yourself, but something with some nice features, I need to at least be able to add a description to the bookmark.

I've tried to use Google Bookmarks, but I just don't tend to like it.

What do you use for keeping your favorite URLs together and organized well?

I use a mixture of Chrome Bookmarks and Google Bookmarks, but I think I am going to try Xmarks

I've been using Xmarks on 3-4 workstations/laptops that I use and it works great. Occasional sync issues, but they're usually easy enough to resolve. Never any major issues.

I wish it didn't have to run in the system tray for IE, but that's a minor inconvenience as well.

I've just been using Delicious bookmarks, and the Delicious addon for Firefox.

I've been really happy with it, but now I'm wondering if some of these others have more/better features?

+1 for XMarks, simple and easy. It can also sync passwords if you utilize that feature in your browser (well it'll sync passwords in FF not sure about IE) but who uses IE?

Well I tried Xmarks, but didn't like it. Just was not what I expected. I found Goodie Box

It's simple and I like that. It can sync with your firefox bookmarks too.
But it's the online site I really needed.
It's a great way for me to add a bookmark, set up folders and add my own description, keywords and search feature, which was key to me.

It's really nice and simple and I like that. So, that's what I'm using now.
