Kid with his 60,000 dollar truck

Looks fun! :D
I'd do it in my $600 YJ though.
Need my truck to pull the boat.

Maybe he chose that over splitting the truck with the ex-wife in the upcoming divorce.

And if there wasn't a divorce pending before the jump . . .

That's what I was thinking. She got the truck in a bitter divorce case. Other than that, it makes no sense? Or else, its an insurance claim where he is trying to get out of paying for it and is going to call it in stolen? But what about the camera rolling on the jump and filming him with who knows how many witnesses? Maybe people are just that stupid and desperate to wind up getting a lot of hits on youtube?

Eh, I don't think any production vehicle will survive a 90 ft jump.

I think you misunderstood. I would buy a new one in a heartbeat if I had the cash. A used one is bound to have had an owner that has beat the snot out of it while off roading. Insurance would never cover those costs so nothing would show up on the records.

I'm waiting for the first person to die from one of these jumps. It is just a matter of time. These things weren't meant to take this kind of abuse.

What I cannot imagine is that even with a seatbelt on your going to hit your head on the roof of the truck. Lucky they didnt break their necks or damage their skulls!

As for the truck I bet the frame needs a bit of straightening and all the shocks replaced too!

Unbelieveable!!

I have to say that this made my morning. Is it wrong that I laughed really hard at this? Who in the world thinks of this mess? The cameraman's reaction was priceless. Thank you for sharing I cannot have a bad day after watching that.
