So, there are a ton of discussions on here on which CRM to use for your business, etc. I ran across one that is a hosted solution that is free, with a paid "pro" version available.

http://www.shockeymonkey.com/

The free version is pretty full featured.

(I have not used it, I use different software, but this looked pretty useful for everyone)

I am surprised at the lack of response to this. CRMs are a big topic on here and I thought a free alternative to ConnectWise and Autotask would get some interesting feedback. Oh well. lol.

I looked at it and signed up for free account, created a ticket and not even sure how to print it out...Guess i need to read more. Still need to check it all out but typically I would do the "pro" version becuase of the added bells and whistles only not too sure about the price. Looks like about $50 a month... Might be a bit high, but will check into it further.

ah, I just remember the epic threads about it. lol.

Please post what you guys think about it. I haven't tried it yet.

I'm using it. I'm about to upgrade to the pro version this week because I want the additional CRM features. It's good to establish the good habits that a PSA system does for your business without taking on the huge complexity of Autotask and Connectwise. They also have some integration with their parent company OwnWebNow which does exchange hosting.

I tried it but it does not have the functionality that I am looking for.

It does not allow you to add customers systems so you can track it, should they return it to you.

I am using newwayservices and find it similar but with more functionality.

Would you be willing to provide a link? I am interested in this. Thanks!

there doesn't seem to be a print ticket option.

I was thinking that maybe it used a different CSS stylesheet for printing and it doesn't. Might want to contact their support about it.
