ipad mini 3 won't power on

Hello. I have an ipad mini 3, wifi only, that will not power on. itunes sees it as being in recovery mode. Right now I'm using a new lcd and battery, fully charged. Also using a new sleep/wake button. I believe this to be a failed component on the logic board but I'm not sure which one. I've seen the previous versions of the mini have a similar power management chip to what the ipad 2, 3, 4 does but I see nothing like this on the mini 3. Any ideas?

No they can't, Apple won't touch it now that it has had unauthorised modifications done to it.

First check to see if the backlight has blown shine a light to the middle of the screen and see if you can see the itunes logo, if not try restoring it in itunes if its a new LCD screen i have known it to need reset and restored
