Input with Logo Design and Facebook Like

I don't really like any of them. They don't say anything to me except "hey, I need a logo". Maybe that's just me. If the image stood by itself, none of them are worth anything. They say nothing about you.

What is one distinguishing feature of your business? A key selling point? If it's a power button.. Dude.. Why should people do business with you? Because you can push a power button?

Let me give an example. My logo was designed (by me) with a couple of concepts in mind. First, the speed of my service. Second, the color. Blue makes a certain statement. It's a calming color. It's also the color of authority. People are stressed. They have no idea what's going on with their computer or how to fix it (or they wouldn't be in my office). They want to trust someone to give them the final solution, fast.

I equate it to someone going to the doctor, thinking they're dying. They're all in their head about it, panicked and stressed out. The doctor says "you have a headache. Take two of these and call me in the morning".

I'm the computer doctor (as are you).

So, to convey that I used a swoosh with blue initials. Keep it simple stupid. Your logos say "Yet another generic computer shop with no creativity or sense of direction". That won't attract good clients. So, list out your selling points. You have 10 seconds to tell a prospective client everything about your business. Then, once you've got that.. Make a picture of it.

Me? "We make computer problems disappear...fast." The end.

I really like 11 :) i know its ranked low on your image but that would work well with alot of things ( web site, biz cards, letter heads, com slips, and so on )

good luck with it.

I'd steer clear of anything with a wrench or a power button. The power button has been beaten beyond death and I hope you don't use a wrench for computer repair often enough for it to be in the logo :D

what up with your current logo?

The circle logo you currently have on your FB page looks nice simple and easy recognizable. Unless you have a valid reason for change there is no use changing company logo just because it trendy to do so.

I agree with this. The redesigns I saw don't come close to the clean and simple logo that you currently have.

Maybe not what you want to hear, but I also like your current logo Ben… it's simple, but memorable. I will also mention that I don't think "logos" are too important in the big scheme of things. Service sells.

Hey Ben - Just "liked" you on Facebook. I just finished my new facebook "cover" --> you may want to consider something similar since right now you have no cover. You can see it here: facebook.com/300dollardatarecovery
