Just been to a funeral, close fried of the family.

I've been on my best behaviour, making small talk with family members (who I've no recollection of ever meeting, and the mental name searching and deductive work that entails).

I was even nice to the brother-in-law who I threatened to deck a few weeks ago.

Smiley smiley.

Now, the issue is that we were saying our goodbyes to the widower, who casually mentioned he had PC problems.

I casually mentioned that I could work on it by remote.

I caught a "glance"from the boss which translated as "DON'T YOU DARE"

Of course, on the way home she had a go at me about me "thinking" about selling a Managed Service contract to him.

I didn't, I didn't say a word, but I'm still in the dog house [emoji31]

Edit: I told madam about all this who responded,.....

"Well done dad, get em whilst they're upset and vulnerable. How much did you mug him for"?

Parenting skills, ha! [emoji48]

Make sure to tell her that if they go with the wooden box instead of the copper/steel coffin that they can apply the rest of the money to a 1 year maintenance program for the computer and have money left over for a backup drive.

On the serious side, My conductances also on the loss.

Cheers guys.
