How on here carries ID cards when you go to customers houses or businesses? could you share your ID card design, so I can see how I need to design it, I think in the world we live in now it’s adds more professionalism.

Lol @McFarland IT - You made me laugh on that one.

I use business cards myself but if you want an ID badge, they are always a simple design. Business Logo on top, picture in the middle, name below the picture. You can apply a BS barcode or employee number below that (Or other details you find important such as addresses and lost & found info).

I also have one like that. Had it so long I forgot where I got it from.
But I have nice polo's with my logo and name on them.

We've been an onsite business for almost 15 years and though I understand why somebody might ask, we've NEVER been asked to see an ID card. For new customers, we just introduce ourselves and hand them one of our business cards.

My vehicle has my info on it I have a business card hats with logos jackets with logos and shirts with logos .

I've had a couple places ask me to wear their visitor badge but never to show proof of who I am.

+1 A business card is really all you need.
Your credibility goes up a notch if you have your name/logo on your shirts.

The difference between most of us and gas techs and the like is we aren't just randomly showing up. We are showing up to a service call at a date and time the customer has agreed to they should know full well we are coming.

I find it helps if you call about 10 minutes prior to arrival.

I thought your avatar was a Kerbal.

I have business cards, shirts, a jacket and even magnets for my car with my business logo on them which helps a lot.
