I know that a logo is important but how important is a slogan?

my slogan "your personal IT consultant"

i do think a slogan is important. It tells the customer what your business is about in a short sentence.

like everyone else slogan also... nice thread

Everyone here has some pretty good slogans that really convey something to their target audience. Whether it is home or business clients.

@Bobscomputerservice
thank you

@RichmondTech
I like outline I will be testing it on some adds I run.

@indy-pc
Thanks for the advice on keeping slogans positive

@Love2Tech
I like your slogans

@callthatgirl
I like how your using them as part of your marketing, I just looked at my business cards and realized that they don't have it :eek:

My slogan is "Putting you IN CONTROL of your PC!" because it fits with the name, Nctrl PC Repair, so people have a better chance of remembering it.

I never really bothered with a slogan for 4 your computer repairs and thing I used using technology to grow your business but the name and slogan didn't match

Now I am launching my new pyramid IT it is
we know IT | We know business

I thing if it's done right it's works

I'm in the process of re-branding my company... my insurance wants me to de-emphasize the "On Site" portion of things... that meant coming up with a new logo. However, I am keeping the original slogan -

Why call a geek, when you can call a professional?

My current Slogan is, "Technological Business With Hometown Values".
I think it give the customer the feeling of a hometown where a man's word is as good as his bond and a feeling of security.

@roborob

I like the "hometown" part since it gives the look of not being a giant corporation.

@crabig

Like how you emphasize going to a professional and take away the geek/nerd thing people feel about PC repair

In a lot of instances, depending on the name of our businesses, slogans can be used to clarify what we do and who we do it for. Take "Call that girl" for example. Why call that girl? Call that girl for what? A date? Fashion advice? No, her slogans make it pretty clear: "Call That Girl, We are here to help"

In other situations, you can use a slogan to further identify with and sell your customers on *why* they should call you, as evidenced by the "hometown" post above by Roborob.

So is it as important as a logo? Could be, depending on your business name and how that name appeals to your current target market.
