First one that was actually put up, my first office had one but it wasn't as nice as this one. And to let you all know, the signs are glass and cost around $2000 to get etched, I didn't want to pay that price, so I went with a banner on each side, cost about $220 printed and installed.

Looks really good Lisa. Your branding is sticking out a mile. I see a nice franchise operation opening for you in the not too distant future. Well done you!

Looks good.

The person that does my car windows also does those glass signs. I think she just does the glass itself. Its Plexiglas actually. If you already have a frame I know she charges way less then $2000. For example the Plexiglas you can get at Lowes for under $20 and for the printing she does full color on my back window for $50. She does a good job to. I can give you her contact info. I know she's not local and having something like that shipped might be a nightmare but she might be able to just ship you the vinyl and you can apply it to the Plexiglas.

Lonestar, I don't know, my designer did it and when I checked the proof, I didn't catch it I guess. I had this problem with another designer too unfortunately.

Thanks guys and Vdub, I don't know how long I will be at this lease, so I just did an affordable "take away" solution. I can take the banners with me:)

I have been going with "computer support" more lately to stand out from my competitors since we do so much software work. The nice thing is now I have full marketing going on with the banners/my truck/yellowbook and the billboard. The billboard had to get re-done (again unfortunately), but it's better because it's easier to read now.

I really want a pair of E-shoes, now! I don't even know what they are, but I want them!

Oh and, yeah, looks good.

What's funny about Danielle's shoes is that...

I helped her in 2004 when we both had home offices--now we both have grown our businesses quite a bit. She has a larger store now and I have a larger store.
She moved out and I took over her lease
Her sign stayed as I couldn't afford to change it
I put my sign under hers because...

She still gets a lot of drop ins for shoe buying and I tell all the clients of hers where her new location is and I give them my card. Ching!

Personally I would rather have 'Virus Repair' instead of 'Virus Removal' on a sign like that. With a roadside sign it's not so much about them reading it word for word. People are most likely to just be glancing at it for a split second and repair is a much better keyword than removal for their eye to naturally pick out from the rest.

I'm curious as to whether you get a lot of walk-in traffic considering you're beside a store that sells shoes and purses, and then on the other side a jewelery designer.

Edit: Looks like I was slow to the punch with my post. Seems like people walking in thinking it's still there is even better.

Virus repair vs virus removal

Maybe some people want there virus to run properly and as it was intended to, lol. :D

Lisa it looks great! Also I like fact that there is no phone number. I just put up my banner two weeks ago ( doesn't look as good as yours) and I went without the phone number as well. That tells the customer to come in and see what we have to offer.

As far as im concerned, Lisa, is doing a awesome job at marketing. I just wish I was half as good.

Its as plain as the nose on my face that it works, and is paying dividends, so why would anyone be annoyed at it. Jealous, yes, but annoyed.. not a chance. Lisa keep it up hon :).

After reviewing Slocs past posts, this is not something I will worry about. If you think I'm annoying in the whole 8 days you've been here, you will most certainly be more annoyed moving forward and it's best to just put me on ignore because I am here, been for a year, have 28 posts that have been rated good out of 28 and am not going anywhere too soon.

Thanks for the back up guys! I appreciate it. :)

Moraltech, right before we put the banner to print, I had my designer take off the numbers and website for 2 reasons. It's easy to move and I also checked out how other businesses did their signs, most just had their business name. I followed their lead.

That is very nice marketing. Never thought about not having the number/site on the banner, but it's a good way to bring in foot traffic.

Keep it up Lisa!

I'm not sure I know it was a mistake, but I think that virus repair is a bit misleading.

I do think that you should have had a phone number there, most folks have iphones and smart phones, it easy to punch the number in and save it for later, they may not always have time to stop in when they are driving by, but if it's in there phone they will remember.
