How to sell digital content?

Hi everyone I have a question on some of the ways to offer digital downloads. My vision is to create some sort of directory of mp3 audio sermons and offer them to the congregation for download. I have never looked into this type of situation and I thought this would be a good place to start the brainstorming. Thanks All!

Is your question really about "selling digital content", or more simply how to provide audio downloads to a congregation?

If it's just downloads, consider providing podcasts (weekly sermons) through Itunes. Five or so years ago I helped a local church do this and I see they're still doing it today. Unfortunately, it's been so long I don't recall the details but I know it wasn't difficult to sign up or upload each week.

Congregants can download the podcasts free from Itunes.

Have them send a $5 donation. Once received, send them a link to the download page. Unless it's a megachurch, the demand might not merit spending a lot of time on it.

Maybe not exactly what you want, but you can get your mp3s distributed and available for purchase over various spots on the internet (like iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc) using CDBaby.com. It will cost a little up front for the barcodes ($20 for an album or per track I believe).
