how to remove windows tag from a laptop?

but if i try to remove the original windows tag will get broken?
is there any liquid or way to remove it sound safe?

DISCLAIMER: My trick does not condone application to illegal activity, it is FYI only. (I just collect old keys from junk, dead systems)

Legality aside, this is my trick: I fill a snack-size Ziploc bag about 1/4 full of hot, near-boiling water. (Just hot enough that it doesn't melt through the plastic) I place it on the COA so it loosens up the sticky backing. After about a minute, it easily peels off and is ready to be stuck back onto some empty sticker paper. Ya know, like if you get a sheet of labels and just take off all the labels so the way back is left.

just remember to be carefull with the amount of heat you apply, as the plastic underneath will start to melt

i this case i have a laptop i hope it wont damage it. ( but the bag hot water tick.
i cant use the lighter here hehe )

Some countries have ruled that MS can not prevent you from selling your OS no matter what. Nice to see MS being told what is right.
