System specs: HP ProBook 4540s with 64-bit Windows 7 Professional SP1.

After running SFC /scannow the following messages appears: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

I open the CBS log and as you know there is a large list of items. My question is, how do I locate which files are corrupt in order to fix them? What do I look for and how do I navigate such a large list without going down the list item by item? I guess I’ll need to know how to fix the files once I find them.

Last time I cracked up that file (about 2 months ago...for one of the useless /scannow attempts, I just skimmed the log...and towards the end were the list of 5 or so files it had issues with.
