long story short, some of the US suppliers are raising rates super high on repair parts so I'm buying chinese direct. Problem in the past is the chinese folks dont typically take back their parts. The only issue I have is slight frame lifting, glass and frame still in tack they just seem to use a really crappy glue? I've used super glue gel to attach the screen back to the frame and that seemed to work. Anyone else have suggestions how to self repair? Other than this issue the screens are typically just fine...

Have just had the one recently - was actually a customer who had a 6 repaired elsewhere and the glass was separating from the plastic frame. As you say, looks like the glue just wasn't good enough. I took the frame off, cleaned it and the glass up a bit and used 3M adhesive strips with a small dab of superglue in each corner for good measure. Seemed to work fine.

superglue helps with lifting iphone 6 screens (rarely, but I saw also 5c, 5s and 5 lifting screens)... but if you put superglue on Sony Experia Z (esp. Z3, thats a nightmare), screen will crack in few days
