How do they get away with this?

MS does do their work quickly when you report a vendor that sells these.

I was a victim of this a few years back...got my $$ back, luckily. Reported them to MS and within a couple of weeks....**POOF** they were gone.

I don't think you can dispute a charge that's 6 months old can you?

Have them check their credit card terms of use contract, usually a dispute can be levied for 60 days. It may also depend on the mechantability of the product. Good Luck!

Didn't really read through the thread but they are basically reselling their licenses that they receive through their Action Packs and or TechNet subscriptions. There is rampant abuse of these privileges that we receive from Microsoft.

I recently went to a job site where a client bought 4 Windows 7 Keys from an online retailer ( not Ebay) they advertise Windows 7 for 29.00 each. After 4 months the keys were no longer genuine. When I got onsite I used a tool from my kit that gives me detailed information on each key. Well as you might of guessed, they were all MSDN keys which are Illegal to sell. The site is from China and did not respond to 3 emails. The client had to purchase 4 genuine Micrsoft kits for $109.00 each. They were less then impressed to say the least. I have found 5 of these sites so far all from China, ( Just google cheap windows 7 keys) I would love to know how these crooks stay in business, Needless to say I did report them to microsoft. Any onle else have any experience with these sites?

China is one of the largest source for pirated/counterfeit software and hardware products in the word. Reporting them to anyone will not do anything to them. They are in China and Microsoft can't touch them unless Chinese government does something which I really don't think they will since they have much bigger issues to deal with like fake Apples Stores popping up all over china.

Lets not forget Chinese government pirates everything like entire factories based on US technology.
