So i get a call about all the users in the office getitng a credential popup after logging in and then it says cannont access desktop redirect folder even though nothing as changed over the past 2 years lol

I checked permissions etc. I made the profile .old and now when I log back in I can get all the redirects but its a temp profile lol a fully loaded user and its calling it temp and even saves on desktop, but outlook profiles wont...

Any ideas?

Rebooted SBS2011 yet?

Check clock on server matches workstations.

All services started?

Almost sounds like SBS has got corrupt active directory and has rebooted but failed to load AD. Can you open Active Directory Users and Computer and DNS Server tools and see all the contents on the server console?

Have you fiddled with IPv6 on server? That can break stuff.

Run the event log and use the Administrative view (on the left) to look for errors. Run the Reliability Monitor and look for events that could be related.

Check backups have been working.

As much as it pains me to suggest it, run the Fix My Network Wizard and see what it finds: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc546095(v=ws.11).aspx

C: full on server?

As for the temp profile, you have to delete the user's profile from the registry, then it will create a new profile when they log on instead of going to a temp profile

I'd be checking health of the server, ensure DNS is setup properly. Something like this...I've seen happen when someone went and switch out a router, leaving DHCP enabled on the router, which of course will make DHCP from the server shut itself off. Now Active Directory between the workstations and the server is broken..and it's only a matter of time til the wheels start coming off of things, such as this.

Also, as Turri mentioned above...a filled volume will cause symptoms such as this with Redirs.
or a quota on that space...being reached.

Check event logs on server, and affected workstations.

I had this happen after changing a switch. Try disabling ipv6 on the client and see if that helps. We were getting this pop up asking for creds that also said below it that the account may have been compromised. All research appeared to be DNS related.
