Wasnt this guy like the beez neez back a couple years ago and people raved about his software? and wasn't he a member here? What happened?
Yep, the product in my opinion was the best of it's kind on the market. The problem is he worked on it seemingly 24/7 and updated constantly then once he had recurring revenue off it he got burnt out and kept promising updates and a new version, which never happened for a couple of years. He just basically disappeared. He did "hire" a couple people to run the "business", but by then it was too late. I moved over to UVK from D7. I was all in on D7 from the beta to D7II, but if you just up and abandon all of your customers, then most of them will do they same to you.Wasnt this guy like the beez neez back a couple years ago and people raved about his software? and wasn't he a member here? Yes, but then we realized he was a phoney. He stopped supporting the software in any meaningful way. Threw up an additional pay wall (on top of the subscription fee) to get even a little support. Then he decided to just "redo" the whole thing instead of fixing what people were already paying for.I seem to remember the same thing.
And of course a name change from FoolishIT.
I used to think it said "Full of $hiT."
Or how about the promotional pen company called "Pen Island". It's a real company but if you look at their dot com it can be read a different way. I'll leave that for you guys to imagine.
yes he was, it was very popular then, then I'm not sure what happened, other free tools maybe.Wasnt this guy like the beez neez back a couple years ago and people raved about his software? and wasn't he a member here? What happened?
Nope, he abandoned his user base so they abandoned him.yes he was, it was very popular then, then I'm not sure what happened, other free tools maybe.
Edit: He also had a podcast for his company, which you could be forgiven for thinking it might include content relating to the company or software. Instead it was a couple of chain smoking/vaping neckbeards talking about stupid nonsense on garbage webcams with even more garbage microphones.
It's kinda scary how angry I still am with them even after canceling my subscription years ago. :/
