Herd Protect

Hello everyone. I'm posting here as a new account, as although I'm sure I made one before I have no idea what credentials I could have used.

Nevertheless, I have been trying to make do with Avast, UVK, adwcleaner and Roguekiller for virus removal this past while. Previously I primarily used Malwarebytes until it was pointed out to me about their terms of service not permitting technician use on the free license - and the USB tool costing a fortune.

I have managed okay, only with some difficulty particularly in getting used to manual virus removal through UVK, but I happened to hear about Herdprotect today. Perhaps I'm late in getting to the table but it seems to be pretty impressive as it scans semi-online and makes detections based on 68 antivirus packages at once.

What I have to ask is, does anybody have any experience in using this for virus removal, or would this just simply be breaking 68 license agreements in one foul sweep?

Don't know about the license agreements, but it sure finds a lot of false positives.

Review the results and be careful with what it flags.
