Help with iCloud/Outlook 2007 problems

Hi.

I did some work on a clients' PC yesterday; deleted old Windows backups, ran disk cleanup, D7 to remove temp/log files; nothing substantial.

I got a call later in the day that he was unable to retrieve his contacts or calendar; he uses Outlook 2007 and iCloud to sync everything.

He got a message that "the set of folders cannot be opened." I've seen this before. I logged into his machine, closed outlook, opened the iCloud control panel by clicking the icon in the systray.

The box to sync contacts, calendars, etc. with iCloud was not checked, so I checked the box and hit "yes" to merge data. I then opened Outlook, and all contacts, calendars seemed to function and everything *seemed* to be in place.

Today I get a call that all the contact categories he used to have, are all gone, and a lot of the contacts are missing data such as email addresses.

In the past, iCloud created its own .PST in the appdata\local\outlook folder, but I do not see anything like that on his PC.

When I go to the data file manager in outlook and open the folder where Outlook says iCloud is supposed to keep its data, it takes me to some totally random named folder inside of the appdata folder, with no Outlook files in there.

Basically, I have no clue what to do; what file to try to restore or anything. I do not believe any of this data would have been, or is kept in his default .PST; iCloud in the past always created its own separate .PST for contacts & calendars.

Does anyone have any ideas? Again, Outlook 2007, Win7 x64, I think Home Premium.

Thanks
