Google Virtual Tour of Shop

Nice! The shop looks very clean and professional. How much did it cost to get that done?

Thank you for the compliments. I really appreciate them for sure. People ask me if we just moved into this location because it is so clean. But we have been here for over 2 years now. I am just a bit of a neat freak. It looks this way most of the time, but every once in awhile it gets completely out of control. It all just depends on how busy we are. I did tidy up some before the photographer came in to take the photos.

From what I understand, the value is $599.00. But, I won the bid at a silent auction and only paid $150.00 for it. Happy Holiday to me!! It was a good buy.

Here are a couple of info links about the service.

Dude that is way cool.

Good on you for getting it done and that price was a bargain!

For sure this will have great promotional value for your business :)

That is really cool! Out of curiosity, what is the clock on the wall made up of? Looks like it might be old pc components, but I couldn't make it out on my phone.

Nice Shop!

I saw someone using the new 360 picture feature in the new nexus 10 the other day and it looked really nice, that may be a budget option for some.

Great idea!

This is a great idea. I like to use Google Maps to see the location of places before I go to them. This idea makes me feel more comfortable about visiting a location that is organized and neat.

I gotta ask the OP how do you get any work done in their? I just put in another work bench (have over 75 linear ft now) and it still gets too full.

Also why all the inventory crammed together, sells better in my exp when it's separated and easy to find.

Although, I would be careful for potential theives using the service as a way to "scope out" your shop and plan a break-in!!

I agree. I went back and forth on this point for some time. In the end, I determined that anyone could just look in our front windows and see pretty much the entire shop anyway. Hopefully any potential thieves viewing the virtual tour would also see that I have video surveillance and a really nice alarm system. Plus the police department is a block away. So, that is a bonus (I think).

We also lock a second door that goes to the tech bench area each night to help protect our client's computers from potential theft. I am considering getting a coating over the windows that would help make them shatter proof, but I have not done much research on pricing just yet.

We are able to accommodate about 13-15 computers at a time. The smaller bench has a KVM switch and can handle 4 towers in the lower bay area + 1 or 2 laptops on top. The larger bench can handle 4 desktops and several laptops laptops simultaneously. We have room for another 1-2 on the extra desk in the reception area and 1-2 can be worked on in the small office. We average about 8-9 in-shop systems at a time. There are only 5 (I believe) on the bench in the virtual tour. We had worked some overtime to get the shop cleaned up the photo shoot the next day.

I do not have another product wall just yet. I will hopefully pick up another one in the next 1-2 months. The wall is extremely crammed and I am constantly battling to find a place to hang new items. I just hired my 3rd technician, so I am putting my money into growing the shop staff right now. Good problems to have, you know?
