I got a call a few days ago from a marketing company offering me a advertising space on the fron page of google in my area.

So when people type in:

PC Repair Bedforshire
Laptop Reapir Befordshire

It comes up on the front page under sponsored links.

They garentee you business and give you monthly reports and stats.

Just wondering if any of you have had this offer before?

I've done a search for both those areas and I really don't think you would have that hard of a time doing it yourself. I've looked at your site and you need to do some "basic" seo work but that to me would be the best route to go.

As everyone else has said. Some basic SEO work on your site and your all set. If you want to do it on the cheap just get a book like Plain and Simple SEO. It offers some pretty easy to follow advice and steps you through everything. And nearly everything they show you how to do is free. It is a good starter book.

If you want to show up under Google's "Sponsored Links" simply sign up for a "Google Adwords" account. Why pay a man-in-the-middle?

I'm currently using it. You can get very specific about the keywords that your ad is directed to, and seems like a good thing. YMMV.

dont do it. If it who i think it is you will receive many such calls from them offering yahoo aswell. Basic call centre monkeys looking to take your cash for which you will receive very little in return.
