MultiSet 6.5

Want to create a WindowsXP installation disk that will automatically install the OS Windows without asking questions about username, product key, time and locale settings? At the same time your favorite applications are automatically installed, the necessary keys are entered into the registry, drivers are updated, new patches (service packs) from Microsoft are installed. It’s possible and you can do it easily with Almeza MultiSet! Almeza MultiSet will automatically install all the applications you require, either onto your original computer or onto a new one. It’s an ideal solution for rebuilding your systems quickly!
Besides, Almeza MultiSet can create bootable CDs/DVDs. Such disks can be used as a rescue means after a system crash. To completely restore the system, you will only have to insert such a disk into the CD/DVD drive.

I saw it but wasn't sure what people thought about it. Have you actually used it before?
not used it before, downloaded it had a play about with it, found it hard to understand what your supposed to do with it so gave up, like someone said nlite is better by miles

Never came across Multiset before but in case anyone wants to try it, they're giving away version 8.3 now too:

I've downloaded but not tried it yet. It specifically says "Please note commercial usage is allowed.", so that's something nlite does not. The helpfile and the site are a bit poor - not even sure if it can make installers for Vista or 7.

but the ReadMe file states:

Terms and conditions

Please note that the software you download and install during
the Giveaway period comes with the following important limitations:
1) No free technical support
2) No free upgrades to future versions
3) Strictly non-commercial usage

Think that's their standard readme, but in this case the note 'Please note commercial usage is allowed.' overrides that.

However, I've since looked at the program and I don't think it's any good. For XP, nLite is better and for Vista/Win7 I think a WIM based approach while more work is better. So I don't see the purpose of the program: plus the learning curve seems steep.
