Getting a license key off of a non-booting machine

Hey guys, looking for the easiest way to get a license key off of a machine that's giving a stop error. I haven't used BartPE in a long time and when I did you had to actually build a version that fits your needs with non-freeware utilities. Is there anything on the UBCD that would do this? I was reading the overview on their site and it didn't say anything about it.

I'm sure you've checked but is there no product key sticker on the machine? If not, UBCD4Win has keyfinder installed on it.

yep, ubcd4win.com is where you want to be. You will need a copy of XP in order to burn the disk.

you can use produkey and slave it. It will pull it. youll just have to navigate to the windows directory.

I favor this option and have done it many times. It works great. Usually if a computer is non-booting, you'll have the drive out anyways for backup purposes, making this method much faster. I love UBCD4WIN, but hate the loooooonnng bootup time!
