There seems to be a problem with some chipsets in windows 10 when the hard drives go to sleep via power settings and the machine is also set to sleep it causes the computer to hard shutdown.
To fix the problem turning off fast startup and turning off hard drive turn off after X mins seems to fix the problem.
Don't know if Microsoft will ever fix it since it has been around since beta and still has not been fixed.
