how exactly does it look professional? Too much noise, not great quality filming either....
I disagree with the poor communication. He communicated his point 9 times over with exploding hollow tips. What more can be said? Besides it was a crappy hp G60.
While some of what you guys are saying could be right. There may be poor communication between all parties here. However, none of us know the rest of the story. We can only infer ideas based off what we "know." So let's look at what we "know." There is an unruly daughter in need of a major attitude adjustment with a bad habit of using excessive profanity. The daughter also say's she has tons of chores. While this may be true, none of us know for sure. One thing we do all know is that teenagers have a tendency to exaggerate.
What this father did was drive his point home hard and very effectively. It sounds like they've tried other methods of punishment, but this one could be one of the most effective methods (true it could backfire and she could post porn tapes of her and the football team). If the parents work it right, they just taught her and hopefully her friends several very important lessons.
1: nothing you do on the interwebs/computer is private.
2: you better respect your parents
3: your parents are not your friends
4: the people you least want to see your content online can see it.
Now the parents of this girl should continue this lesson by teacher her how truly hard some have it by signing her up to volunteer at a women's shelter. They then should teach her what it is really like when you have to clean up others "sh!t" by having her volunteer at a nursing home. With any luck this could help her become a more responsible young adult and perhaps she may find her calling with what can be an immensely enriching experience.
For it's face value, I applaud this father's decision to drive this lesson home hard.
