I wasn't sure whether to post here or in the "Deals" section, but I just picked up one of these for a client and tested it out:
IOGEAR USB 2.0 External VGA Video Card
I tested it on an old laptop, and within maybe 3 minutes, including the time it took to download the latest drivers, I had a 2-screen span. Very, very cool! He has one of those HP small form factor computers with only 1 PCI slot, so this seemed a good time to try one of these out. Now he has a portable 2-monitor setup - I'm sure he'll love it!
