I have a spreadsheet that I 'saved as webpage'. After the workbook is published, it looks pretty on the screen and looks good! When I go to print it, it does not print the colors.

I am not sure if it is a printer driver issue, a Excel issue, or an Internet Explorer/Firefox issue.

Thanks

Browsers are generally set by default not to print background images. It can easily be turned on if needed, for example, in Internet Explorer, choose 'Page Setup' from the print options and select the option to 'Print Background Colors and Images'.

Make sure you turn it off when not required though, else you'll find you'll be using a ton of ink/toner when printing from many web pages.

Ya, it ended up being the printer settings that did it. I have to turn on background printing in the printer prefs of the print setup for the particular printer
