Trying to disable Win 11 Log on pin/password. I disabled the pin, but then upon rebooting I have to enter the Msoft account password. How to disable both of these? Tried all the obvious steps, I guess I'm missing a buried setting somewhere.
I have little reason to believe it won't work under Windows 11. And it doesn't eliminate the password, per se, but "auto enters" it in effect. There hasn't been a truly completely sans password way to get in to Windows for some time now.
I have tried 3-4 different ways of creating this, but either the add local acct. button is grayed out, or some other glitch, which prevents the creation of a local acct.

Are you in S Mode? If so, you'll be limited in a lot of areas. Take it out of S Mode and you'll be amazed at how much more you can do, including more access to account creation tools.
