Am I missing something or have I just run into some annoyingly nasty Dells lately? UBCD does not want to work with any of them (does not recognize any drives), they haven't wanted to work with my standard keyboard and mouse and half of them have had the recovery partition messed up and in need of repair.

I've seen that happen with all makes and models, nothing specific just with Dells

Ive had the same issues with Dell myself but only on the one occasion, I thought it must be unique to dell but perhaps not.................?

I had a Vaio laptop do the same thing and a eMachines desktop report the HDD sizes as -1MB in UBCD4Win.

I don't really know what causes it, but in those cases I had other ways to fix it so I didn't really care.
