D7 and my other dApps - what do you want to know?

I've been asked if I wanted to write an article for an upcoming ACRBO mag, with the possibility of other articles to follow; either about D7 OR one of my other dApps. I figured if I had to write about D7's features, it would take far too many words, and writing about my other apps without first writing about D7 might not be received as well and doesn't make as much logical sense if the opportunity for other articles may follow...

Naturally there will be a part of the reader base that will not have heard of D7 at all, and maybe a part that uses it regularly. I'm trying to appeal to both audiences, and what is hard is not making it boring for the regular D7 user while explaining enough for the newbie to get them interested. It's also difficult because I have a tendency to ramble on...

My question to you is, what might be interesting for you to read about?

I've started a small article on why I develop D7. I can sum up for you that the article is about my being forgetful and a certain extent of lazy. Not sure if that is the right direction to go ;) but that's where I'm at currently.

Anyone have any better ideas?

Not sure if I would put the lazy part in, but maybe go towards the forgetful and automated side, something along the lines of every computer will get the same treatment without missing a step.... But only you know the true reason to why you created it.

Yep, my wife would say this would fit me well and is the only reason I use D7: to give every computer the same consistency and not forget anything in between. Btw..she tells me I have OCD all the time lol

+5 on consistency, when you're in a rush you know you've done everything that is ticked so you don't have to second guess yourself. And just cutting down on the stupid things like downloading a tool each time and opening the zip file and extracting lalalalala. It's amazing how annoying I find that now when I'm doing work not involving D7...
