Client has iTunes with a mix of m4p and m4a songs. I tried the wondershare converter but it would only do the non-drmed files. He is trying to load all the songs on his Sonos and it won't except the m4ps. Is there a way to do this?

I haven't had to strip the DRM from an iTunes song in ages I forget what I used back then. Good to know I can use HandBrake which I really only think of for video.

I prefer VLC when handling audio, I find it more consistent. But Handbrake is very much a solid option too.

Handbrake says it doesn't remove DRM and MV4 Converter plus doesnt convert from audio formats.

Anyone know of any alternatives?

@Porthos hit it before I did I was just thinking that as I was reading the newest posts on this. I think I did this myself in the past but now that I have my MP3 versions of the M4P files I "bought" on iTunes I kind of forgot about it. I had received a stack of single song iTunes redemption cards so redeemed 2 albums from them and then stripped the DRM. Kind of surprised apple still uses a protected format for audio as last I looked most digital audio platforms offer DRM free music.
