Color Laser MFP

Hi,
I work with lots of churches and one of them would like to invest in a color laser all in one. Budget $800-1200. They are printing anything from 2000-4000 pages every month. 80% of their needs would be printing, maybe 15% coping and once in a blue moon scanning. Leasing a machine is out of the question. Can anyone recommend a good laser mfp, that support high yield toners for low CPP(cost per page)? They are running a W7 machine and wifi isn't necessary but a Ethernet port would be nice.

Not within that budget.

I would start contacting local copier companies. See if you can buy a refurb or off-lease machine.

But the recommended is only 2500. Other than that, it's a nice printer.

I just read all the specs and you're right, it claims a monthly page volume of 1000-2500 but the duty cycle is 40,000 pages per month. I don't understand the difference. I always went by duty cycle and never heard of "monthly page volume" until you pointed it out.

I'd be interested HP explanation on how these two specs vary so much.

I have yet to see a color laser AIO that I really liked. There are some really old ones that make great workhorses if you can find them, but their driver support for anything newer than XP is patchy. I have separate, dedicated machines that work well.

I was eying that brother but was worried about the many people complaining about page curling when printing. Just wish I could find something like this http://www.printershowcase.com/Ricoh-SP-C320DNV.aspx, with a a low cost per page and reasonable monthly duty cycle. This isn't a MFP but has one of the lowest CPP in the industry for color and B&W
