I actually need to do some things with certs and will likely be doing it through Namecheap.
As an unrelated thing, I HIGHLY recommend Namecheap over GoDaddy for one big reason: DNS, including (free) dynamic DNS if you so desire. It's easy to use Namecheap's DNS servers, edit your records, and do things that I'm pretty sure GoDaddy only allows with their "Premium" DNS service (at $28+/year).

Yes I agree with Namecheap I been using them for years and really like their service and easy setup.

I've been using Zoneedit.com for some 10 years. But they are no longer free and bought out by easydns. But still very good.
